Numerous studies have suggested that hypercortisolism is present in 3-8 percent of unselected patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Recent data from the Catalyst study suggest that hypercortisolism may be seen in as many as one-quarter of patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes mellitus despite multiple treatments. Drs. Lewis Blevins and Ralph DeFronzo discuss this and related matters in this Endocrine Society Meeting, San Francisco, California in July 2025. You do not want to miss this talk. This is an amazing finding that will change affected people’s life.
