Pituitary Grand Rounds, Episode 6: Controversies in the Management of Acromegaly

This fantastic presentation by Dr. John Carmichael, Distinguished Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Southern California and  Co-director of the USC Pituitary Center focuses on the controversies arising from the clinical dilemmas present in treating a complicated condition like acromegaly. In this dynamic talk, he discusses his approaches to diagnosis and treatment. He shares his extensive clinical experience, approaches to patient care, and the specific treatment dilemmas that have caused those controversies.

He is the Clinical Chief for the Division of Endocrinology and the Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer for Keck Medicine of USC. He joined Keck as Co-Director of the USC Pituitary Center.
