Hi Sharmyn,
I had a very similar experience as you did. It took me nearly 10 years to get my Cushings diagnosis. I ended up on steroids for 12 years after my pituitary surgery because my adrenal glands had been damaged from the overproduction of cortisol.
I just watched your story on Mystery Diagnosis and was felt like I was watching myself! I had to reach out and connect!
