If you have been recently diagnosed with acromegaly this flyer provides an excellent resource to better understand the disease.
This is a collaborative effort between Pfizer’s global offices in Belgium, several patient advocacy groups, and the World Alliance of Pituitary Organizations (WAPO) to provide multi-language materials to acromegaly patients worldwide. While presently these flyers are available only in English, the group announced there will be other languages available by early 2022. Please stay tuned for details.
The flyer is designed for patients, their families and friends, and health care providers. Topics include summaries and support with self-image, keeping a health diary, communicating with your healthcare team, treatment, looking after your well-being, and other general health tips.
